Chapter 252
Bahamas
Ken and Mrs. Fanny had a chartered flight from California to the Bahamas. Whereas Ken was happy and full of smiles for the adventure he would explore with her, Mrs. Fanny was lost in the thought of nightmares Teddy had caused her and the ones yet to come. During the hours in the plane Ken tried to initiate an interesting conversation with the woman he called a wife, but each time the conversation got interesting she would lose attention and end up having Ken repeat himself over again. Ken considered gross and inappropriate for Mrs. Fanny to be absent-minded whenever she was discussing with him.
With his interrogatory stare gathering around her face, he queried her, “What in the name of thunder is bothering my dear wife?” he had a long face, after his smiling face didn’t seem to be contagious enough to make her smile.
