Monday morning quickly came. Maia Shelton sat in class but her mind was elsewhere.

For some reason, it kept drifting to the proposal Morgan had made to her last night.

Matter of fact, from the moment she left her office till when Trevor had dropped her home, right up to the very moment she went to sleep, she had been thinking about it.

“You don’t have to give me an answer now, but keep an open mind to it” Morgan had said.

Still, Maia couldn’t help but wonder why she had asked her of all people. There were women out there more suitable and willing for this kind of proposition.
