Morgan Daniels forced her eyes open the following morning. She tried to move, then she realized there was a petite figure whose beautiful face was lying in between her chest and arm.

To be honest, she felt weird waking up like this because she’s never had anyone hold unto her throughout the night.

Most probably because she kept them awake and when she had worn them out, she faced the other side of the bed and went to sleep. The following morning, she either woke up to an empty bed or have them leave once she was in the shower.

But this felt foreign.

Oddly enough, she liked it.

Morgan shifted slightly, looking down at Maia who unconsciously sniffled a breath and murmured uncomprehensive words in her sleep.
