Chapter 72

It has been a while since Lea was taken from Morgan's arms. She did as the doctor had instructed and filled out the form at the desk. She ignored the remarks of the forty-year-old whom she spoke to when she rushed into the hospital. Once done, she began to pace up and down the aisle, not missing the stares she received from the few people passing who probably think she'd lost her mind. Was she being dramatic for a fever? maybe yes, but this has never happened to Lea before.

Morgan Daniels had never had to rush Lea to the hospital in the middle of the night or at any time of the day. She ignored her ringing phone when she spotted the doctor who took Lea in for a check-up. Morgan rushed towards him, meeting him halfway.

"Is she okay? Why is burning up?" she asked sk frantically, looking up at the doctor when demanding yet scared eyes.
