Livia arched her brow in challenge, pretending to be unaffected by him and the nickname he knew she didn’t like, then gave him her back. But she was still keenly aware of his eyes on her as they faced each other in the gym and continued practising until she needed a break.
Stepping away from Rhye, she strode to the wall of mirrors and reached for her water bottle, tipping her head back and taking a long sip. She didn’t need to turn or search the reflection to know Rhye’s attention followed her. She just knew.
