Alpha Rhye straightened from where he leaned over the engine of the ‘86 YNX he’d been restoring and braced his hands on the metal frame, peering across the garage to watch Livia work.

All evening, he’d been trying not to stare and to give her space. He always hated when Leon or Joseph would barge into his workshop to talk or watch him work whenever they were bored. The garage was his haven, and he knew Livia felt the same when she was around her tools and forge.
