Chapter 13. Green Alien
Bree’s POV
I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring off like a freaking siren, disrupting my sleep. I snuggled deep into my pillow, refusing to get up or even shut down the alarm.
“Bree, turn that down and get ready for school.” My mom shouted from downstairs.
Must my weekdays always start like this? I lazily stretched my arms to the side of the bed. I took the alarm clock, ready to throw it to the wall, when my mom shouted again from down the stairs.
“You better not throw that alarm clock on the wall; I am not going to get you another one.”

I first brushed my teeth, and when I was done, I stepped into the shower with my favorite vanilla body wash. I quickly washed my face and the sleep off my eyes, then washed my body. I stepped out, shaking my head and doing a weird dance, a towel clad around my body.
