Chapter 37. Fun Night

Bree’s POV

“I wish Maddie was here with us.” I was a little sad; we always did everything together.

“Me too, Bree; I miss her already. I just wish whatever fight she has, Dylan would be resolved.” Sofie sighs, and I nod, agreeing with her.

Maddie wasn’t coming with us. Her phone wasn’t going through, so we decided to go ourselves. We got into Sofie’s car and drove off to school.

“I think we better start going or we are going to be late.” I say this to Sofie, stepping out of my bedroom.

For the past hour, after our little chat, Sofie and I decided to get ready for the game. Well, we might have done a little karaoke and silly dancing while preparing ourselves.

I put on short blue jeans, slipping on the jersey, making it look like I was putting on anything underneath. I stared at the mirror to see how I looked and nodded in approval.

“Don’t we just look great?” Sofie approves, standing beside me.

“Yeah, we do. Now come on, let’s go
