Chapter 41. Making It Official

Bree’s POV

The feel of someone moving on the bed woke me up from my peaceful sleep. I slowly peeled my lid up, aware of the hot body snuggling against me with our legs tangled together. He had his arms wrapped around my waist while my head rested on his chest.

I lifted my head up a little bit to look at his face, and his green eyes came into focus. “Good morning.” Hayden murmured against my lips as he gave me a soft peck.

“Good morning.” I murmured back, barely awake.

“Did you sleep well?” His hand on my waist tightened, bringing me back to his body.

A subconscious smile grew on my lips at the thought of last night. “Best sleep ever.” I said with a yawn, stretching my body a little.

Hayden’s eyes flicked down to my chest when I stretched. The duvet had already moved down, exposing the upper part of my body.
