Chapter 40. Night Together

Bree’s POV

Hayden walked up to his room, and I helped open the door. He placed me on the bed before closing the door. I stood up to place the teddy bear on the couch beside the bed. I cleaned my sweaty palms against my jeans, letting out a quick breath.

Why the hell was I this nervous? This was not our first time, and I couldn’t control the way my heart kept on beating. I might end up having a heart attack.

My shaky breath left my lips as Hayden walked towards me, taking me in his hold, and his lips met mine in a hard kiss.

My hand came up around his neck as his hand wrapped around my waist. We continued to kiss, moving backwards until he fell on the bed. He broke the kiss by resting his head on the headboard and looking at me.
