Chapter 15. Mantra

“Hey Len, what’s going on in here?” I ask, looking around.

Her room is a mess. Clothes everywhere, with Abby sitting on top of a pile. She is laughing, but Eleanor looks like she is about to cry or throw up. I can't tell.

“I don't know what to wear.” She takes the glass and drinks, thankfully.

“Since when do guys care about clothes? Just wear something comfortable enough to sit and walk.”

“Jeans are comfortable,” she says with a wince.

“Perfect. Wear jeans.”

“But not my mum-jeans, right?” she asks and goes through her closet again to find her skinny jeans while I choose a cute top.

“Did you plan any fun for us?” I ask Abby.

“I wanna play with my new board game and my dolls," she replies excitedly. I'm the cool aunty who lets her choose what she wants to do. Not that I'm bragging. 

“Great idea. Go set up the game. I’ll be there in a minute.”

“Yesss,” she yells, running off.
