Chapter 6. Kidnapped

Amber’s POV

Everything went dark.

I don’t know how long I’ve been out for, but when I awake I’m hanging in midair. Panic is all I feel as I look down. The ground is just tiny spots, and my mind is all over the place. How, when, and where? What the hell happened?

The last thing I remember is standing with Chase in my pack. We were facing the adults, who were obviously not agreeing over anything. Then the King smirked, and something grabbed me… FUCK!

I look up, and right enough. There is a dragon holding onto me. Why? Why would they kidnap me? I was accepting their prince as my mate… Oh!

Suddenly the realization hit me like a ton of bricks. I was accepting the heir to the throne as my mate. They don’t want me to accept him. Are they trying to scare me? Then they have another thing coming. I am not going to be some scared little damsel in distress. I am the next witch Queen, a fire elemental and daughter of Abigail and Mathew Blue for Christ’s sake!
