Chapter 64. Cleaning, Honoring, and Mourning

Amber’s POV

It’s been almost four weeks since the battle of the Dragon Lands. We have been cleaning ever since that night, trying to rebuild the things that were broken and console the families that have been affected. I took over most of the duties, and Blaze led the cleaning, looking for enemy bodies to burn, but it seems my outburst of power disintegrated them all. Nonetheless we keep looking. We are not about to let one slip under our fingers and ruin another great day.

Maze went home to the pack a couple of weeks ago, and dad came back. It seemed to speed up the healing process for mom to have her mate by her side. Blaze has been wonderful to give me all the time with Chase as I need, seeing as he was hurt so badly and only has been out of bed for the last couple of days.

A lot of families from all over the Kingdom have been traveling to the castle and nearby town after the battle, seeking help or just curious about the reform we are going to present so
