Amber’s POV

The throne room is one big inferno cover in death and screams from those who are not yet gone. Keres sits on her throne still, but she’s breathing heavily and her clothes are long gone. I haven’t seen Narine since before I let my fire rage throughout the room, and even though I hope she’s dead, in my heart I know better. She escaped before I could get to her, and I will forever be on the lookout for her revenge. I promise to myself and my family that this is the last time someone gets kidnapped.
