Chapter 72. Meeting the People

Amber’s POV

Last night we just laid in the bed, all five of us. We talked and cuddled and I think it was just what all off needed. So much has happened in such a short time, and I know for one the whole thing makes me a bit dizzy to think about.

Selene visited me in my dream, apologizing for bringing my family in danger, and once again imploring how important this is for her, her sisters and the whole realm. Geez no pressure. I told her I wasn’t all that surprised, as Maze and I already had seen it coming. I also asked her to bring Maze’s mate back to him. He will need her when the time comes. Selene, being her usual vague and cryptic self, told me she would bring his actual destined mate to him soon, but he needed to accept not all things are meant to be before she can do that. What the fuck that means I am not even going to try and figure out.
