As they run towards the new pack house, thought upon thought race through Matt’s head. What could have caused his friend and brother to collapse like that? He himself had felt the rage course through Abby, but had Jason experienced something alike? That would be impossible, unless it resolved around his own mate.

The matebond, Matt thought to himself. It truly is remarkable. There is still so much they don’t understand about its powers and abilities. Matt vowed, as they hurried along, he would research in the abilities and possibilities of the matebond when things calmed down a bit. Then he heard Blade chuckle in his head.

‘So, we will start this adventure when we are old and grey?’ Blade snorted in laughter. Matt mentally shook his head at his wolf. No! He would take the time to gather information about this subject. It could be vital for the future generation. He felt that so strong in his heart, there was no going back from this thought.<
