“About right before you came in, another feeling washed over me, and I felt relief and grateful.” He gives Matt a side eye. They are both thinking the same. The only reason any of their mates would give of feelings so strong they could travel through the realm border was if something happened to their babies or their family. Then the question was, which one of those possibilities was to hope for? The answer. None. But something had clearly happened.

Jason looks around the room. He does not know how long he was out for? He only knew something terrible and then wonderful had happened to Ellie. Jason didn’t want to think more about it, because the possibilities of what had happened frightened him. Instead, he looked around at the anxious faces in the living room, and they stopped at the pretty brunette standing beside his gamma. The way Jeremy was holding the young woman at his side made it clear what had happened.
