Chapter 68. A Broken Heart

Aria POV

I stirred in my sleep, two muscular arms holding me tightly and my naked back up against a rock-hard chest.

Where the hell was I? Daniel’s scent invaded my nostrils and I opened my eyes. He was sleeping peacefully, his jaw resting on my shoulder. His hot breath tickled my skin and sent shivers down my spine. I tried to free myself, but Daniel moved closer, pulling me to him, his huge palm resting on my lower abdomen.

I lay there totally confused, trying to remember what had happened. Images of me unbuttoning Daniel’s shirt as we danced and Daniel’s naked body on top of mine flashed in my mind.

The heat! I was in heat last night and Daniel made love to me.

“Sh.it, Alicia. So that was the surprise you told me about,” I told my friend, embarrassed at how my mate and I ended up making love.

“You should thank me for giving you such a gift, Aria. Plus, I made you a virgin again to make your experience unforgettable,” Alicia giggled.
