“Oh-kay.” Serena tried not to show how spooked he was by that growl.

 Even scarier is Daniel’s smirk, like this is nothing more than child’s play. 

“But... is this really necessary? I think Kane is a great trainer, and I’ve literally been training with him since I knew how to hold a sword.”

The alpha shrugs. “Fair game, Seri. It’s all about fair game.” Daniel says, deciding to switch tactics to convince his baby omega. 

“Besides, don’t you wanna spend more time with your brother?”

Ah, fuck him. Kane already knows he’s losing this if Daniel dared to pull that card.

Just as he expected, Serena immediately folds at the sight of her brother’s exaggerated pout. 

“Okay, fine.” She sighs in defeat, before looking at the younger alpha.

 “Kane, we’ll start training again together after the run, okay? I promise.”
