Xander disguised as Xavier for the day blanched as he saw Lilly’s appearance. The omega was not only pale and sickly but his face was covered in bruises. “Are you alright? What happened?'' The alpha took a step forward. Lilly looked down trying to hide her swollen face from him.

Olivia looked down also not knowing what to say or what lie to come up with. “We had a problem,” she said simply. She felt silly. The truth was far worse and painful.
