“Do you want some candy?” Liam appeared by Syliva’s side. The alpha was friendlier than she had expected. Syliva was relieved. She had expected mistrusting and a piercing watchful gaze. Liam offered her a warm bright smile and an open hand instead.

She blushed, feeling as if she had been caught doing something forbidden. “I was thinking of my nephew,” she admitted shyly. “We never had the chance to give him candy like this.
