Olivia sat quietly with Dorian in her lap. She eyed the alpha. Her guts tore from worry. The last thing they wanted was spending the little they had, and get Sylvia into an uncomfortable situation.

“Alpha,” Lilly called softly. Her hand trembled as she reached for Xander’s arm. “I am fine, alpha” she said, not really convincing anyone.
