She wondered what she could have done to deserve this
It was irrational, and utterly ungrateful, but she suddenly felt very angry with him.
He claimed to govern her life and that of her child.
Eden clenched her fists. Deep down, he knew it was Ivan she wanted to hit, not him.
To slap the one who offered to save her and her child from decay would have been pure folly.
