“Are we not there yet?” I whined for the fifth time and heard my mate sigh beside me. I know we'll get to where the lake is soon but something in me wants to stress him for no reason.

I wanted to behave like the couples I watched in the movies Lyla made us watch during girl's night out. Where the girls just annoy their partner for no reason and they still get pampered.

“I guess you're living your dream after all”, Jasmine snickered in my head, making me roll her eyes at her. “Or you're just jealous that it's not you that's being showered with love and attention”, I jabbed at her and she scoffed.

“Bitch please. I'm you, you're me. We're one, durhhhh. If you're being showered with love attention, I am too, dumbass”, she retorted but I wasn't going to go down without a fight.

“Last time I checked, you're a wolf and I'm the pretty human that is always pampered”, I stuck out my tongue at her and she just clicked hers.
