Lola's POV 

The sun was setting nicely, and I was still having the best time of my life just sitting in my mate's presence. I refrained from having any bad thoughts, and we just relaxed.

We finished eating a while ago but he refused to bring out the dessert, claiming it was a surprise and I was going to love it so much. 

While I might have thrown a tantrum on the outside, I was relieved on the inside because I was so full that I could burst if I had anything to eat. 

"Are you not cold?" Adrian asked as he gently rubbed his thumb across the skin of my palm.

"Yeah, a little," I answered him and shivered again.
