Lola's POV

   I had the option to walk home, but Adrian said, and I quote, "I can't risk anything happening to you, I'd never forgive myself," so he decided that we would take a car instead. It wasn't like anything was going to happen to me if I walked like all the other regular people.

    Jasmine laughed in my head, "Yet, you're as red as a tomato," and I wanted to slap her. With a hint of sarcasm seeping through, I remarked, "Jeez, what a supportive wolf you are." 

    She continued to mock me, and my want to slap her grew stronger. "You're stuck with me whether you like it or not, girl, so get over it," she taunted.
