Chapter 54

Lola's POV

    The room went silent and I looked around the room to find various expressions on people's faces but none portrayed joy nor happiness.

    "We were just told we were going to lead a war and you expect anyone to be glad about it?" Jasmine asked in my head and I wanted to scream. 

    Did I suffer for 8 years just to be pushed into war? And I thought I was going to get a good life now that I have clear skin, I guess I have to do away with that thought.

   "What exactly is the prophecy and how am I supposed to lead it when I don't even know what it is about nor what I can do. Is this some kind of joke?" I questioned with a humorless laugh since I couldn't bring myself to cry about the matter at hand.

    "A long time ago, Selene was forcefully taken by the god of Rogues, Hermes. Hermes married her forcefully after he threatened to tear down her city if she didn't comply with him. Selene,
