Chapter 57

Lola's POV

     I reluctantly turned around and went to where Jayden sat in the living room. I stood for a while before he motioned for me to sit on the single settee chair in the room. 

     I knew what he was going to talk about but I still hoped that he wouldn't say it. Oh goddess, I'm not ready. Adrian and Rose soon joined us and Adrian sat closer to me giving me some sort of comfort. He held my hand and I took a deep breath befire Jayden began to talk.

      "I'm sure it must have been shocking to find out that you're a special wolf yesterday", he began. Not really, I've always known I was different, I just didn't know it was the type of different that would put the fate of the pack wolves into my hands.

      I nodded my head so I wouldn't seem rude and he continued. "It's no news that you'd be leading our kind into a war that only you and Adrian can conquer", he stated the obvious. Adrian
