Fear and maternal instinct surged through me, drowning out any lingering frustrations and arguments that had plagued Kenneth and me. In an instant, our baby's well-being became the sole focus of my attention. I hastily nudged Kenneth awake and my voice filled with urgency as I told him about our child’s condition.

"Kenneth, wake up! Something's wrong with the baby," I exclaimed, my words laced with a mix of panic and determination. Without wasting another second, we both sprang into action, quickly gathering the essentials and rushing to the nearest hospital.

The journey to the hospital was a blur, my mind filled with a jumble of worries and prayers.
