Chapter 24
Taeil was already approaching. At Tuan's request, he stayed away, but the moment he saw the image of Hayoon and Kang rolling over the grass, he took that impulse to approach slowly. And now, seeing his best friend at gunpoint, his desperation made him run, breaking whatever plan the police had still kept at a distance.
"Don't do that." Taeil shouted, stopping to the side.
Kang glared at him, aiming the gun at Kim. A shot was heard, but luckily for Taeil, only his arm had been grazed at that time.
He ducked in a hurry, hiding behind a car. JaeHwa screamed in fear, but he was stuck. Hayoon grabbed his waist in order to change position and protect him, since he was aware that Kang wasn't bluffing with the weapon, but again the bigger one held him tight, leaving him there, protected.
"Don't do that." JaeHwa asked when the gun was pointed at his chest again.
