Minsun had tired eyes.
That was so notorious that the nurses and doctors who passed by, feeling their own hearts tighten with the image of the man next to his best friend.
His eyes, in addition to being red and wet, were downcast, drooping, without a hint of happiness.
His hand touched Hayoon's, which was warm, but without even a movement.
Park's face was hard to look at. A tube was in his throat, his lungs still weren't breathing on their own and his heart, which was so hurt, was beating in a weak rhythm, scaring him even more.
Park's body was weak enough to kill him if he fought to heal himself. After an incident right after the surgery that had gone very well, any second Hayoon remained alive was something that relieved Minsun and anyone else who cared.
Hayoon was in a coma.
A coma that had been induced to save him, hurting anyone who visited him and saw him that way, so weak and full of machines around him
