And it was obvious that, even if she tried, Euna saw her weeping expression the second she laid eyes on his face.

The woman was just as broken as JaeHwa. His son had woken up, he was fine, but one only had to look at him to see how much JaeHwa became more depressed with each new day.

"Thank you mom." He handed her the cell phone.

Euna sighed, touching her pale and cold face, wiping away a fresh tear that fell.

"Come here." pulled it.

JaeHwa had to bend down to reach his mother's shoulder, but it was so sweet and calming to his soul that he didn't care.

The woman touched her son's long hair and stroked it as she had done with him since he fit in her arms.

"Doctors came here." she spoke low, seeing him rise at the same moment.

"What did they say?"

"They're going to extubate him."

JaeHwa's eyes bugged out. Even wet, shiny, they were surprised.
