Chapter 55

"Defendant Kim Kang, accused of stalking, assaulting and invading the privacy of Park Hayoon and Jeon Jae Hwa, trying to take their lives, arrested red-handed." the judge dictated, looking at Kang's dull, unresponsive face. Kim was tired-eyed, he barely slept in prison, and that resulted in a run-down appearance. His dark circles were marked, and his new lawyer used that to demonstrate how his client was suffering through the events and the place where he was being held in prison. Kang just blinked, staring at the judge. "How do you plead with these accusations?"

Kang moved his clasped hands on his thighs and faced the lawyer, seeing him give the subtle nod.

"Innocent."

The buzz of people who followed that trial for months was audible, and the judge had to ask for silence, reading the documents that were on record.

"My client was not sane when he did these things, Your Honor. As you can see, the documents prove it."
