Chapter 138. Love Has Nothing to Do with Pain

In the basement, Kyley stared with widened, terrified gaze at Jason who walked towards her calmly.

"W-what are you talking about?" In a shaky and fearful tone, Kyley blurted out, pretending as though she knew nothing about what he just asked.

Her body trembled in fear and trauma as she scurried away from Jason, hitting her back on the walls and causing the chains with which she was tied to the wall with to cling and clang.

She had nowhere to run!

"That Lycan really has no shame. To think that he'd bite and mark you on the same spot as I did." Jason seemed to mutter to himself as he stared down at Kyley indifferently.

"Do you really think I wouldn't notice?" He asked a short while after, the deadpan expression on his face conveyed his annoyance at Kyley's ignorant act.
