I waited till Sophie and her brother left the study before I asked the question that was bugging me.

“Do we have a plan?” I asked my PI.

He shook his head. “At the moment, no.”

“We need to figure out something fast, but before that, we need to disable the tracker, so Antonio is blindsided,” I told him.

“I agree, we need to throw him off our tail. I will need the tracker. He would see it moving and follow it. That would give us enough time to come up with something,” he said.

I nodded my head, it was a good plan, but I was afraid we didn’t have the time.

“Do you think the tracker is in the microchip or necklace?” I asked him.

“There is only one way to find out. We will need the necklace,” he said.

“Not right now. I need her to have more time with her brother before we say anything to them. We don’t know what might go wrong.”
