Chapter 12. My First Love

Sophie's POV

I felt my chest tightened as I watched Mr. Jacobs sitting on his swivel chair inside the infirmary. I’ve been watching him for the longest time, I’ve been loving him ever since to the point that I thought I could marry him someday and build a happy family with him, but those were all my dreams. And as usual, dreams don’t really come true.

I flinched when he suddenly looked at me. My heart started beating crazily just by hearing him utter my name. “M-Mr. Jacobs.”
