Sophie's POV

I felt my chest tighten as I watched Mr. Jacobs sitting on his swivel chair inside the infirmary. I’ve been watching him for the longest time, I’ve been loving him ever since, to the point that I thought I could marry him someday and build a happy family with him, but those were all my dreams. And as usual, dreams don’t really come true.
