Chapter 51

Jade POV

The sun's rays hit my face harshly, interrupting my sleep which caused me to hiss and throw a pillow over my face, blocking away the light. 

I snuggled into the blanket, yawning and trying to go back to sleep when my phone rang out loud, causing me to hiss again. 

I can't even get a nice sleep on my birthday. 

I groaned as I opened my eyes and scanned the bed for my phone in order to answer it or put it off. Whichever it was. 

I saw it, halfway almost falling off the bed and stretched my hand to grab it. 

I checked the caller and without a doubt, it was Betty. 

I slid the green icon and dropped it on my ear, closing my eyes and sighing. 

“Hey, Betty.”

“Happy freaking super duper birthday red one!!!” She shouted from the other end, almost making me deaf and at the same time waking me up totally. 

She started singing the birthday song just as I sat up, putting her on speaker then stretched lazily.
