Chapter 58

Jade POV

It was evening already and I had just finished showering and was drying my hair in front of the mirror. I observed my hair for some time and thought maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to go back to having brown hair. I wasn't at my uncle's house any longer and Suzy or Marcel weren't around either so nobody would really remember what my mother used to look like or even dare to compare me to her. 

I sighed lazily and yawned just as I heard some footsteps coming from the hallway. 

I guessed Saint was back. 

I put on some comfy shorts and a loose-fitting top and walked out of my room towards the kitchen. I peeked by the sitting room which was on the way but I didn't see him. 

I felt a bit disappointed as I didn't see him and continued to the kitchen. Reaching there, I saw him with his back turned towards me, taking out a bottle of water from the refrigerator.
