Chapter 218. Give Us a Chance

She could already see the desire dancing in his eyes.

Her want crowding his senses. The desire to quench his thirst for her was so potent that it was visible in his eyes. His masked, emotionless eyes expressed themselves, and Shehryaar read them. She was well aware of what he wanted, and she was about to give him just that.

"I...I want to," she stepped forward towards him, "I want to give us a chance," she said and held the collar of his shirt, "A chance that you had been asking for so we both could lead a normal life."

He loosened his tie and took a step towards her. Holding both her arms, he jerked her towards himself, further decreasing the distance between them. His eyes gazed into hers.

Sheharzaad felt nervousness taking over her senses as soon as she found him observing her. His penetrating eyes made her heart skip a beat.

"A chance from you was all I asked for, and you're giving it to me today, Sheharzaad."

And she gave him a small nod. <
