Kamil spots Precious over the head of Carla, hugging her parents, but Precious doesn't notice him. The Alpha's gaze is locked on the children, an unreadable expression carved on his face. His hands hangs stiffly at his side, fingers curled into looser fists.

This far away, Kamil can certainly assume that unlike the children and their parents, Precious doesn't mark this as a celebratory day.
