The silence in his bedroom is suffocating. Precious stares at the ceiling, his mind replaying the yesterday afternoon– Miki's trembling fingers on his cheek, the way his body had melted into the kiss. 

And then the moment when something had shifted in his head, when Precious started to imagine a different person, a different position, a different time. When kissing Miki had felt like a betrayal, then guilt for thinking of it that way. 

He sits up abruptly, running his hands through his hair. Sleep isn't coming again tonight. It isn't helping that his thoughts keep circling back to the desperation he has for the scented sage shirt in his closet.

Kamil had once mentioned that Princess was a good companion to sleep with. Better Princess than this restlessness. 

Before he can second-guess himself, Precious leaves his house for Kamil's, and knocks softly.
