Thedore’s POV

“Her fated mate? Her fated mate?!” I shouted.

So King Ezra knew? He knew all along that my wife, my Adeline was his fated mate?

I didn’t even realize I’d spoken the words aloud until the sound of my own voice echoed back at me.

“Theodore, you need to calm down first,” Lucian said “I’ve never seen you react this way before.”

He was the only one in there with me after I chased everyone away. I needed to be alone, all by myself.

I looked up at him.

“When another man was claiming my wife? My Luna? Right in front of me?” I barked, squeezing my fist.

“Adeline has already begged you countless times to break the mate bond,” Lucian reminded me, “She’s told you how she feels. She’s probably moved on and doesn’t want any of this again.”

“Haven’t you noticed Iris has caused more harm than good since you brought her into this house?” he continued.
