Chapter 5. Business

“Tell him I wish not to come!” I shot.

“As I said, he ordered me to pick you up.” 

I flew from my seat and walked over to him.

“As I said,” I began putting more emphasis on the ‘I.’ “I wish NOT to come!”

“He did not ask for your consent. I am only doing what I was told to do.”

Bruce got up and walked over to us.

“What is going on here?” 

The guard took a long stare at him and then back at me.

“Do you want to do this the easy way or the hard way?”

“You can’t just come to my house and start giving orders!”

The man leaned in closer to me and picked me up from the floor. I began to hit my elbows against his shoulders, creating an impact I thought would make him drop me, but he didn’t.

“Let me go now!”

Bruce ran over and hit the man in the back, causing him to drop me. He pulled the man over to him by his suit jacket and threw a heavy punch in his face. He pushed him to the ground and began to rain blows on
