Chapter 4. Headlines
I hooked my gaze on him, hefty breaths escaping my nostrils. He was, without a doubt, the number one person I hated and the worst thing that had ever happened to me. I drew myself away from him.
“Get out of my house!” managed to escape through my clenched jaw.
“You mean my house?” An evil smirk was glued to his lips.
“You have no right to throw us out now! You said a week, you big coward!”
“Coward?” The air was filled with his chuckles. For a few minutes, he stared at me. Then he let out a chuckle again.
“You know you are! How can you even do this?!”
“Because I can. Now evacuate this building.”
“We are not going to. We have a week!” I yelled.
He walked slowly over to me, his face almost glued to mine.
“You are stubborn; I like that. Stubborn people don’t go too far with me.”
He grabbed my shoulders and moved down to my waist. He gripped it tight and started to move his hands slowly, feeling the arcs of my waistline.
