Chapter 42. Visiting Chris's Company

Adele's POV

Our lives went on as usual after the visit to the park and today is Monday. Chris has left for work while I am here in the sitting room, glaring at the television. 

God, I do not even understand a thing that is going on on it. 

I glanced up at the wall clock and my eyes brightened when I saw the time. It is not lunchtime yet. 

I have been thinking about it and I want to surprise Chris at his place of work someday. He has been doing everything for me since we got into this marriage together and now I feel like it's time to do something back in return. 

Well, that someday can always be today. 

I got up from the couch immediately and switched off the television before going to the kitchen. That's right, I am intending to make him lunch and head to his office to deliver it to him. 

I can still remember the way to his office building since that time when we went to his congratulatory event together.
