Chapter 10

"Beep beep," Jason's phone rang, and he placed his hand underneath his pillow. Without checking who it was, he answered the call and placed his phone on his ears.

"Hello," His tired voice answered, and he sighed heavily.

"I'm outside the gate. I need you to come out." Kitty's voice responded.

"You are outside?" His tired eyes opened wide, and he immediately sat up on his bed. He jerked from the bed and looked out through the window. He saw her standing right outside the gate.

"Seriously, how did she know I was here and not at the penthouse." He muttered to himself as he wore a shirt on his bare chest. He took a coat from his closet and headed right out.

"Kitty, why are you standing outside? Why ain't you coming inside?" He tried to shout with his weak voice loud enough for Kitty to hear him.

"I'm okay here. I just want to have a conversation with you." K
