Kitty’s POV

Everywhere was quiet as she handed them the file. They both accepted it with a confused look on their faces,

“What is this?” Jason questioned her, but she had nothing to say until they had both read the file.

“Why don’t you read it, and I will explain everything?”

He nodded but gave her one strange look before burying his nose in the file. While Agent Jamison was already ahead and had opened the file when she handed it to them, she let out a smile and started doodling on her notepad just to pass the time; it was the least she could do to wait for them.

She remembered she had left her phone on the desk; it was buried under one of the files on her table. She checked it, and there was a message from her private investigator sending her the file on Ivan, as she asked, including a photo of him. She sent it to her printer directly to print them out in two copies of each. She brought them out and arranged them in two separate files for them to read
