Kitty's POV

When they finished the meeting, and they both agreed to what she said, then there was no prolonging the matter; she told them she was done, and they could go. Agent Jamison thanked her before leaving, but Jason was still seated right where he was. She raised a brow at him, and he repeated her actions. She waited for him to say what was on his mind. He was never good at keeping things to himself. He always told her whatever he had on his mind, no matter how bad it was. Two could play that game.

She ignored him and proceeded to shred the files she gave them; they were not using them now, so there was no need to have them lying around. The sound of the shredder was music to her ears.
