Knowing what she knew now and how she felt about this Scam of a Marriage she was in with Jason, she knew that she and Jason had a lot to lose if she decided to talk to Detective.

The Detective was very persuasive; he even offered her protection if she was able to bring Evidence that Jason and the firm were fraudulent; she had a lot to lose because she needed the money that this contract Marriage was offering.
