Chapter 35

Kitty’s POV

I made Jason promise not to say anything to anybody. I believed a situation would come up when we needed it to. I finished massaging him and went back to my office, humming as I went through some of my case files. I wondered if we could sue James for poaching our clients, although if they weren't coerced, then it wouldn't be a problem. All I had to do was call them and ask, but they would have signed a non-disclosure agreement. I sighed, knowing it would be a lot of work for me to do.

I heard a commotion outside, but I ignored it. This usually happens when coworkers fight over some petty issue and couldn't handle it like lawyers, so they decide to act like brawlers. I just focused on my work while tuning out the noise.
