Kitty’s POV

"Where the hell have you been?" That was the reply Jason gave me after I told him I had something exciting to tell him. I wanted to share with him all about what the detective and I discussed. He finally agreed to do it after I told him that I didn't need long before Trish was caught in a lie. That he would only be doing it for a short while and he wouldn't encounter many problems in the process. I rushed home to tell Jason the news that the detective was on our side and also told him what happened between Trish and the detective, but it looked like he was not in the mood from what it looks like.

From his stance, he was mad about something.

"What is going on?" I asked him.

"I asked you a question, Kitty. Where have you been?" he raised his voice.

I bristled; he knows I hate it when people raise their voices at me for no reason. So, in my best voice, I answered, "I went out for drinks with an acqua
